LED Flashlights
Why LED Flashlights are so good
Traditional flashlights most often use an incandescent bulb, and the drawback here is the amount of heat generated. This drains the batteries quicker, and it is basically a lot wasted energy. Eventually, the bulb will also burn out due to the heat stress.
LED flashlights are better, because they use Light Emitting Diodes to produce the light. This results in a lot less energy waste, and they are also very, very durable. The batteries in your flashlight will also last much longer. As a result, LEDs are perfect for flashlights.
Reliability
LED flashlights are reliable and durable. Energy consumption can be as low as 15% compared to incandescent bulbs. Since they don’t contain a fragile filament, LED Flashlights can often be dropped without them braking.
Test results show that LEDs can continue to provide good light more than 10 years after they started being used. In other words, a good LED flashlight means you may never need to replace any LEDs.
